My Favorite Links

The New York Times- I really enjoy the New York Times website because I feel that it is a very credible news source. Not only that, but it also does a good job of living up to it's standards. It is well rounded in covering all issues, hazards, and events either in New York, across the U.S., or around the globe.

USA Today- This particular online media newspaper is great for looking at the news in the U.S. and really doing a thorough job of covering a wide range of news topics. I also like how it has its own "weather" tab.

The Chicago Tribune- This site is good for covering environmental hazards in the Midwest area. It's not so broad that you get confused, but it is the perfect size to figure out semi-local national news.

MSNBC- This is another website that I like because it is easy to navigate. There is a separate tab for "weather" which covers the major environmental hazards. I also like that this website lets you watch a lot of videos so you can get an even better visual.

The Leader Telegram- This online media source is wonderful at allowing people to navigate weather right here in Eau Claire. When I needed information on the Chippewa River flood, this website gave me a great deal of information and photos.
